Generative AI Usage Log

This is a menu that can be accessed based on the analysis of generative AI user history.

Service Provision Guide

  • This feature is a paid add-on service, and its availability is determined by the contract.
  • If the service is not activated, it will not be displayed in the menu.
  • If you wish to use the service, please contact the sales representative.

Access Path:

  • SHIELD Gate Admin Page → Log Management → Generative AI Usage Log

Menu Description:

  • You can view and manage the usage history of generative AI services (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) used by members within the organization.
  • You can understand the AI usage status by user, by service, and by period.
  • You can monitor for information leaks or inappropriate use by checking the content of inquiries and responses.

Period Selection

Default Settings:

  • When entering the initial screen, logs from the last 24 hours are displayed.

Period Option:

  • Quick Select Button:
    • Recent 24 hours
    • today
    • Recent 7 days
    • Last 30 days
    • Recent 90 days
  • Custom Period:
    • Direct Date Range Selection (Start Date ~ End Date)
    • Detailed settings available until the time (hour/minute/second)

Usage:

  1. Click the desired period button or use the date picker.
  2. Specify the start date and end date when selecting a custom period.
  3. After setting the period, the logs for that period are automatically filtered.

AI Service Filter

Filter target:

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • Gemini
  • Perplexity
  • Grok

Usage:

  1. Click the "AI Model" dropdown
  2. Select the AI service you want to query
    • Multiple selection available
    • Default: Select All
  3. Display only the logs of the selected service in the list

Search target:

  • username
  • Email address

Search Method:

  1. Select search type from the "Name" or "ID" dropdown
  2. Enter search terms in the search box (at least 2 characters)
  3. Real-time search result filtering

Search Conversation Content

Search target:

  • Content of the inquiry (what the user requested from AI)
  • Response content (the content answered by AI)

Search Method:

  1. Enter the search term in the search box at the top right (at least 2 characters).
  2. Filter logs that contain search terms in queries or responses
  3. Highlight the search term in the search results.

Usage Example:

  • "Customer Information" Search → Check queries/responses related to customer information
  • "Password" search → Check for sensitive information leakage
  • "Project Name" Search → Understand the current usage of AI related to a specific project

Status Filter

Status Type:

  • All: Display logs of all statuses (default)
  • success: Successfully processed request
  • Block: Request blocked by security policy
  • Error: Request that caused a system error

Usage:

  1. Click status filter dropdown
  2. Select the status you want to query
  3. Display only the logs of the specified status

Log Detail View

Open Detailed Slide

Access Method:

  1. Click the item you want to view in the log list.
  2. The detailed slide panel opens on the right side of the screen.
  3. Close (X) button or click outside the slide to close

Basic Information Tab

As the default tab of the detailed slide, you can check the following information:

User Information

Display Item:

Name:      [Username]  
ID: [User Email]
Department: [Affiliated Department]
IP: [Access IP Address]

Utilization Plan:

  • User Identification and Affiliation Verification
  • Identifying Access Location via IP Address
  • User Specifics in Case of Suspected Misuse

Log Information

Display Item:

Time:      [Log Creation Time]  
AI Model: [Used AI Service and Model]
Session ID: [Unique Identifier for Conversation Session]
Status: [Success/Blocked/Error]

Using Session ID:

  • Logs with the same session ID indicate a single continuous conversation.
  • You can check the entire conversation flow in the conversation history tab.

Content of the inquiry (Input)

  • The entire content requested by the user to the AI
  • If the query is long, you can scroll to view the entire content.
  • [Copy] button: Clicking will copy the query content to the clipboard.

Response Content (Output)

  • The entire response content generated by AI
  • If the response is long, you can scroll to view the entire content.
  • [Copy] button: Clicking will copy the response content to the clipboard.

Conversation History Tab

You can check the entire conversation flow of the same session ID in chronological order.

Display format:

Reference:

  • There are cases where there is no session ID depending on the characteristics of the AI service.
  • Logs without a session ID can only be queried as individual queries/responses.

Log Download

Download Function

You can export the currently filtered log list as a CSV file.

Download Procedure:

  1. Setting Desired Filter Conditions (Period, AI Service, User, etc.)
  2. top right corner of the screen**[Log Download]**Button Click
  3. Automatic Download of CSV Files
